Greetings to all! I am thrilled to have found Hubpages. First, I must thank Lady Guineviere (Debbie Lewis Allen) for introducing me to such a vast array of fellow writers.

I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I have written many poems and short stories, most of them the 'old fashioned way' by putting pen to paper. I also have quite a few children's stories resting quietly in my mind. 

Writing online is a new world to me. One of my daughters has written a fantasy novel and she permitted me to read it as each chapter was completed. It was very different to read a story while not holding an actual book in my hands, literally :0) Reading in that format has also pushed me a bit closer to writing again. Writer's cramp is much easier to handle when typing on a keyboard as opposed to guiding a pen/pencil for each written word.

I am a strong willed kind of gal and have been known to speak my mind loud and clear on one or two occasions, well maybe more like hundreds of occasions, but hey, who's counting!

I have thousands upon thousands of words crammed inside my head and hope to begin writing again very soon and get them onto paper, so to speak. I have recently in the past year had a very strong urge to paint, yet I cannot draw a decent stick figure. I am hoping that the strong desire to begin writing again will guide me with a paintbrush in the near future. We shall see.....
